After 40 years of loyal service, Jacques De Grâce, Executive Vice-President of Pageau Morel, is taking a well-deserved retirement.
Recruited as a young engineer after obtaining his bachelor of mechanical engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke, Jacques De Grâce has had a prolific career with Pageau Morel. Associate of the company since 1988, he joined the Board of Directors in 1998. After nearly 10 years as Vice President, he became Executive Vice-President in 2017.
Jacques De Grâce has made a name for himself as project manager for the construction of a multitude of office buildings, such as the National Bank of Canada head office, the CNESST head office, Maison Manuvie, 22 Eddy and 455 de la Carrière federal buildings, GlaxoSmithKline’s offices in Quebec City and the Normand-Maurice federal building. He has won several awards for these projects.
Other major projects include the reconstruction of the Voltigeurs de Québec Armoury, several major projects at the Montreal-Trudeau Airport, the expansion of the Anjou, Saint-Laurent and Legendre STM transportation centres and the construction of ETS University’s D building.
Finally, Jacques de Grâce also contributed to the realization of several iconic projects in Quebec, like the Montreal Biodome in 1992, the Bell Centre in 1996, and the Lac Leamy casino and hotel in 2001.
The management and entire team at Pageau Morel would like to thank Jacques for his years of dedication to the company. There’s no doubt that, throughout his 40-year career, he has greatly contributed to Pageau Morel’s reputation in the industry!
